Who We Are

Uzazi Village is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community-based organization
in Kansas City, Missouri, dedicated to improving maternal and
infant health, with a focus on Black and Brown families.

The organization provides culturally relevant prenatal
and postnatal support through group care, doula education support,
lactation and breastfeeding clinics, childbirth education, and other assistance
programs, including a clothing boutique and diaper distribution.

What We Do

Uzazi Village offers free breastfeeding clinics, infant through maternity clothing items from the Uzazi Clothing Boutique, empowered and informative childbirth education courses, group prenatal care services through the Ida Mae Patterson Center, affordable women's healthcare services on Community Care Days, and so much more.
