The Ida Mae Patterson Center was founded on the tenets of the Village Circle Approach. The center offers community-embedded group prenatal care, designed to support, protect, and provide clinical care to childbearing persons, families, and others.
Services
Client Service Days
Diaper Depot
Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday, and in partnership with Happy Bottoms, the Diaper Depot offers free diapers to families in need, from newborn to size 6. We recognize that access to clean diapers is a fundamental need, yet it is often a financial burden for many families. Whether you need a one-time donation or ongoing support, this program is here to help.
Please schedule an appointment to receive free diapers.
Clothing Boutique
On the first and third Wednesdays of each month, the Uzazi Village Clothing Boutique offers infant and children’s clothing from newborn to size 6, as well as maternity clothing. Families can schedule a free pickup online. This community-driven initiative is a testament to our commitment to supporting parents on their journey and reducing the barriers to providing for their growing families.
Please schedule an appointment to shop our boutique.
Community Care Days
ON HOLD UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Every 2nd and 4th Friday from 1-6 p.m., we’re here to empower women to take charge of their health in a culturally supportive space.
All services during Uzazi Village’s Community Care Days are provided by our Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Certified Community Midwife. Women of reproductive age are welcome, no matter their insurance status. Services are offered on a donation-based sliding scale because your health should always come first.
At Uzazi Village, your health, your choices, and your journey matter.
