Voices of Black Women: The Baby-Friendly Experience

Hakima Payne and Tru Kellman will share their research project that involved 6 focus groups with Black women from around the state of Missouri regarding their experience of giving birth in Baby-Friendly hospitals. This qualitative study identifies Black women’s experience of and feelings about their breastfeeding support in Baby-Friendly hospitals. We will share our conclusions and facilitate a discussion about our findings.
